Subject: ADVOCACY ADVISORY: Solutions for fixing contracting with small business offered at Congressional hearing

Small business advocates are urged to consider advancing the SOLUTIONS offered by the FPA Think Tank at UNF at a House Committee on Small Business hearing held today in the nation’s capital.

The goal of the Think Tank Umbrella Initiative is “to double the number of small businesses contracting with the government by the year 2020.” Over 50 recommendations contained in documents by the Think Tank were made available to House Members.

The Umbrella Initiative is being promoted for a congressionally supported pilot in Florida before it is rolled out nationally.
